When not running across deserts, members of the Team Born to Run 5 Deserts Team are available for speaking engagements, and can speak about a range of topics including the 5 deserts challenge, and the Born to Run Foundation.

The following is some feedback from a recent presentation:

Greg and Matthew Donovan recently gave a most inspiring presentation to our V.I.E.W. Club on the “Born 2 Run Foundation” which evolved from Greg’s younger son’s diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes.  Every member of our club was totally intrigued by their determination, awestruck by their physical endurance and deeply touched by their passionate commitment to this cause.

They shared with our members their remarkable triumphs and amazing challenges of their runs so far – the Atacama and Gobi Deserts; the background of their team and their quest to support research to find a cure for this disease.  Banners, incredible photographs, a brilliant powerpoint presentation and a DVD of their desert runs portrayed the extremely punishing conditions under which these athletes compete as a team.  I would thoroughly recommend Greg and Matthew’s presentation to any organisation that requires interesting, enlightening guest speakers on such a fascinating and worthwhile topic as this.
